Please read completely and understand our terms and conditions.

Muddy Boots Forest Camp has provided this detail of our terms and conditions with the assumption that you have completely read, understand all listed below, and are in agreement with all terms and conditions stated.

Before registering for an event, please ask for clarification of any terms or conditions.

Informed Consent and Acknowledgement

When registering for an event, parents/guardians are granting approval for their child’s participation in any and all activities prepared by Muddy Boots Forest Camp during the selected event. Parents/guardians assume all risk and hazards incidental to the conduct of the activities, and release, absolve and hold harmless Muddy Boots Forest Camp from any and all liability for injuries arising out of participating in activities during the selected event.

In case of injury to said child, parents/guardians hereby waive all claims against Muddy Boots Forest Camp including all leaders and volunteers, all participants, sponsoring agencies, advertisers, and, if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event.

Cancellation/No Show Policy

We understand that situations arise that may require you to cancel your registration.  We ask that you please email or message Muddy Boots as soon as you know you will not be able to attend to allow waitlisted registrations the opportunity to participate.

Due to the cost of deposits and materials purchased ahead of the event, we are not able to refund cancellations with less than 48 hours notice, but will provide credit toward another MBFC special event in the same amount.

Cancellations made with more than 48 hours notice will receive a full refund of the registration price.

Severe Weather Policy

While we try to encourage time outdoors in different warm and cold elements there are times where it's safer to postpone or cancel an event.  We use the Child Care Weather Watch Chart to determine when it is safe to hold class based on the forecast.

In the event of forecasted severe weather including but not limited to: blizzard conditions, winter storm warnings, wind-chill warnings, wind advisory, thunderstorms, lightning, or tornados, a decision will be made on whether to hold or postpone class 2 hours before the event.

Participants will be sent a text message, email, and a notice of postponement or cancellation will be posted on the Muddy Boots Forest Camp Facebook page.

Participants will receive a refund of their registration.
